Flashback 2!

What up blogger family? Here is another flashback print for you to check out. Also to let it be known, I still have some copies of these prints so if anyone is interested just leave a comment and some info to get at me.

FlashBack!

Ok! Ok! Ok! Still not keeping up to promises but yet I'm still here trying to post more. It's been a while since the last one but hey, I'm trying! This flash back post is based off the idea of print making. I am stepping back into the world of print making as a primary medium now. Got a bunch of ideas and for the first series, I think you guys are all gonna love. Here is a flash back print I did a few years back. WOW! A few years, hard to type.

This print was called "Hard Space," not sure why I entitled it that but hey it was a while back. I'll be back in a day or so with another flash back print and soon some previews to the new series I am working on plus a preview to another animal block piece. I only have 3 more block works left after the preview. You guys will get a gang photo of them.

Been Away and Back!

So I've been busy with work and what not so I am really late to posting. I know this! I promised it would get better, hey this is harder than it looks. LOL! So here is a sketch that was done in time for an on scheduled post. Now I'm off schedule and looking to get back on one but in the mean time here ya go.

 Time to get back on the grind and do work.

So yeah! Got to caught up with work and Super Bowl this weekend. Been very very busy out here folks but you still a friendly post to remind you that I am here for U! Today inspiration is popping off of one of my all time favorite Duo's, OutKast. Don't worry I will have new sketches posted on Thursday and a new preview of a wood piece. Double feature folks, get excited! But today I leave you with Millennium.

Dust It!

Oh yeah, finally! Why call it sketch dust, cuz there are sketches out here that are dusty and I'm not talking about the American dream Dusty Rhodes. Hahah, just kidding. The thought of Sketch Dust was from the scanning process, sketches always looked dusty and of course had to do some clean up in good old Photoshop. Here is your first bit of dust.

 The first one of course is the original and the second is the cleaned up Photoshop version. Hope you all enjoy this and also enjoy this song too.

 

Joe Cool!

Alright I know the title is Joe Cool but that's not what this piece is called. For some odd reason I just keep thinking Joe Cool! Any how, the final is done, hope you guys like it.

The Gang Is Together!

So it's Tuesday January 29th, 2013 and the gang is together for the first time. What gang am I talking about? This one!

So this is the gang kicking it but still got add Joe Cool his stripe. Gotta earn some honors around chear, lol! I have 4 more squares left and open to suggestions. Also got sketches in a start which will be posted later this week. Stayed Tuned to your next Sketch Dust episode. (Batman Music)

 

Round About!

So this blog is called Sketch Dust and people are probably like, where are the sketches? I will have some sketches coming soon but for right now enjoy this painting preview I have for everyone.

 

Ok! this is just one of many to come of my painting previews. This piece has been in the making for a few months now and is finally coming to a close finish. As of now this is just 1 of 5 in this group idea I have. I am also a print maker and once I get my equipment together you guys will get to enjoy some photos of some great prints.

Preview Dot Done~~!

Last year I put a preview pic up of a piece i was working on. So here is the finished product.

I became a bit organic with this one. Organic shapes, color line looks more like a huge paint brush stroke which is what I was going for. I got tired of straight lines, they looked too perfect. Perfect is boring, lol! Sorry about the camera quality, eventually I will start taking photos against white backgrounds to make these pop a bit more.

The second photo is the closet to what it actually looks like in person. I had fun with this one and hopefully everyone enjoys it. Have to get started on the next one now.

2013---------->

New year, new ideas, no promises. Promises cause problems, but I will say look forward to more post within an actual reasonable time span. I haven't posted in about 2 months or like a month and a half. This is the 1st of 2013 and yeah its gonna be 1 of many many many. I hope everyone had a good 2012 and looking forward to a great 2013. I'll be making a ton of work and you guys get to sit back relax and enjoy looking at it.
